AeroScout Engine is a software component of the AeroScout Visibility System, which enables location and visibility applications in a standard wireless LAN environment. AeroScout Engine processes information received from nearly any vendor’s wireless Access Points to produce accurate and reliable location and presence data for assets tagged with AeroScout's Wi-Fi-based Active RFID Tags. The sophisticated processing abilities of the AeroScout Engine make it a key part of the most complete and flexible visibility solution on the market.
Core capabilities of the AeroScout Engine include highly accurate location determination, management of AeroScout hardware and software setup, and in-depth analysis tools.
In addition, AeroScout Engine has been chosen by other vendors to be embedded directly into their own products, to power their location determination and processing. These include Cisco (integrated into the Mobility Services Engine) and Time Domain (to determine UWB-based location.)
