PreSales/Solution Architect (Europe)
AeroScout is seeking an experienced and talented Presales/Solution Architect.
The Solution Architect (SA) is a key part of AeroScout success as they have an impact on sales, marketing, solution delivery and more. SAs, as part of the technical sales team supporting the regional revenue generating activities, help to identify, qualify and close business in the region. SAs are product and application experts for AeroScout solutions. SAs apply this product and domain situational fluency and expertise to support all technical pre-sales activities including but not limited to diagnosing customer concerns, delivering presentations and demonstrations, responding to cus¬tomer technical issues and questions, contributing to RFI/RFP responses and conducting small scale Proof of Concepts or Pilots. SAs are also involved in occasional post-sales activities by delivering product training or participating in Professional Services work. In addition, SAs are a key source of market research by identifying and documenting future product and application requirements. Effective public presentations and demonstrations (in English) are required. Fluency in other languages is helpful. Travel is required.

Responsibilities
- Work with existing and potential customers to apply AeroScout products to "real world" problems/solutions. Establish credibility with the HealthCare customers (based upon Healthcare experience) and demonstrate how the AeroScout products can effectively solve their problems. This involves acting as a consultant in both pre and post-sales situations.
- Provide pre and post sales support to customers including both end users and value added integrators of the AeroScout products. Answer questions about overall applications, or particular modules, drawing on the development staff as needed.
- Apply AeroScout software and hardware tools and applications to develop innovative applications for specific customer demonstrations as well as general sales, trade show and other marketing events demonstrations.
- Work with the development staff to determine evolutionary path of AeroScout software and hardware product line. Direction will be based on feedback from customer installations, systems integrators, and end user re¬quirements.
- Build a knowledge base for worldwide sharing of applications and RFI/RFP responses. Leverage understanding of existing applications towards potential customers through documentation of successes, failures, and corrective actions in the applica¬tion development process.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of Trade Show demonstrations.
Requirements
- BSCS, BSME, BSMfgE or BSEE at a minimum or equivalent.
- English Language Fluency; other European languages helpful (French, Spanish, German)
- Central Europe or UK based; EMEA travel 50-60%
- 5-10 years experience working on or with Healthcare software in or Healthcare Information Technology. --Experience w/ Operating Systems (Win and/or Unix), Databases (Oracle and/or SQL Server), networking and WiFi ALL highly desirable.
- Experience in generating code for integration of automated systems helpful; understanding of integration techniques (XML, Web Services, etc.).
- Understands software architectures for performing location, telemetry, coordination and control of manufacturing or healthcare systems.
- Knowledge of RF WiFi principles; networking concepts, database concepts, and/or shop floor control software a plus. Experience in customer training and/or public speaking a plus.
